Long Leaf
The building houses a daycare and a hair salon. The salon, named Total Salon, is featured prominently in the photos above. The salon occupies about 10,000 square feet, while the daycare takes up around 14,000 square feet, making the total building size approximately 24,000 square feet.
This project is unique because the owner opted for an architectural standing seam roof, leaving it exposed for a distinctive look. The construction follows a similar approach to previous projects, using a steel frame with Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) and 2.5 inches of spray foam beneath the standing seam. This method results in a well-insulated building with minimal air penetration.
